REVIEW FROM NEW BOOK (RELEASE DATE 4-1-2011.): BOOK REVIEW Merv Mattair's new book “Word From My Kings & Queens: Overcoming Seemingly Insurmountable Odds” provides insight from many real people who disclose the challenges they have faced in life and how they met those challenges with positive outcomes. The reader cannot help feeling “this could be me!” The stories stir the emotions while teaching basic life lessons that anyone can use in their own situations. The format used is especially meaningful because after each anecdote the reader is asked to become involved by responding to how they can implement the lesson just learned. This is connecting knowledge with action. And action is necessary if you are going to make positive changes in your life. One of the principles common to these success stories is self-control and accepting responsibility for your choice of action. Another principle learned was that people are put in to your life for a reason—and you need to use that resource in overcoming difficulties. And remember, when you are strengthened you are to help strengthen others. This book is a must read for all ages because it will help you feel, think, and act in ways to help you achieve happiness. R.O.Y.A.L.T.Y CONTRACTING TESTIMONY.: Please accept this letter as a formal recommendation for the services of R.O.Y.A.L.T.Y N/O, INC., primarily the services of the share holder, Marvin Merv Mattair. Mr. Mattair contracted with our coalition to provide facilitative leadership through the venue of serving as Chair of the Madison Whole Child Project . Mr. Mattair was responsible for discerning who the key stake holders were in the community of Madison County, educating them on the importance of the Whole Child movement, & recruiting them to service as leadership council members. He also navigated the membership through reviewing the statistical information available on child health, trying to concept the data. Relationships were forged through his dynamic leadership and all key people were properly engaged in the process. Under his deliberate and persuasive leadership, a memorandum of agreement was executed with the Chiles Foundation and the Madison Whole Child Leadership Council in the very beginning, saving time and moving the project forward with a sense of urgency and purpose. Currently, the group is very enthusiastic about their important work for children in Madison County, thanks Largely in part to Mr. Mattair’s leadership role. His willingness to serve in a volunteer capacity speaks volumes to his inner motivators and mirrors the true selfless spirit to those around him. R.O.Y.A.L.T.Y MOTIVATIONAL TESTIMONY.: In 2010, I, Author Dawn Desiree Banks was inspired to write "Revelations of a Poetess" by first and foremost the powerful almighty. I had longed to write and publish a book of poetry. I had been writing poetry in my teens, I loved the works of the elegant Maya Angelou. I was also inspired by Mr. Marvin Merv Mattair. I met briefly with Merv on ISEECOLOR. On that beautiful day, I learned that Merv was also Blessed with a miracle to touch other souls with his ability to be a motivational speaker to our youth.
I wanted to learn more about this, and learned that he had published a book titled "Word to Our Kings and Queens". I was determined to get his book, & I did exactly that. I finished reading that book in just two days, & I was so inspired by his dedication to help others. I introduced my love of writing poetry to Merv, and took flight later publishing my long awaited book of poetry titled "Revelations of a Poetess". Mr. Mattair believed in me and pushed me to do something productive with my poetry. Mr. Mattair introduced me to two beautiful, talented individuals such as writer, publisher, Barbara J. Williams, and writer, poet Carol Griffin.
